Memorial Day

We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. I (Jenny) was scheduled to work, but fortunately/unfortunately got called off Sunday and Monday. I was happy to spend well-rested days with the family, but I will miss having a good paycheck.

We took the boys up to Farmington Cemetary to see Grandma Asay. We took some pictures of the boys. We had a picnic and let the boys play at the park.

Marty and I planted our annual flowers. I planted the vegetable garden. We also had enough time to put out new mulch and plant six new trees. I also dug up some bushes that I've always hated -- mugo pines. HATE them!!! Our yard looks quite nice now. Oh, and get this: Marty actually relented and let me get a peach tree. It's just a dwarf tree that's only supposed to grow 4-5 feet. We'll see what happens.
