Tubby Time Anyone?

My boys are too cute. Jacob has this huge pair of swim goggles. He loves to wear them in the tub. He wears them EVERY night. I love that boy!

I know it's a short post, but what else is there to say but I love these boys!!!

Walk To School Day

Yesterday was "Walk To School Day." They kids had a lot of fun walking up the steep hill to school. Jacob was proud that he didn't have to sit in the stroller next to Ben at all. Ben wanted to walk all the way too, but the mean mommy I am wouldn't let him. We would still be walking to school right now if I had let him doddle the way he wanted to.

The Great Outdoors

Jacob and Ben have been enjoying being busy little bees outside. They have even taken my camera to get pictures of the action. Not too bad for a 5-year-old and a 2-year-old.

Let's Get It On

Spring time. Love is in the air. At least it is with Jacob. He has a "girlfriend." Her name is Sophie, and she's cute as a button. Jacob has even had her come over to our house after school one day recently. "Mom, she chases me on the playground" Jacob says. "That's because she thinks you're cute," I reply.

You know it's for real when Jacob even lets Sophie drive the dune buggy the ENTIRE time they're outside. Yes, he's whipped by the cute little Irish girl.

Mother's Day Post (Sans Pictures)

Happy Mother's day (a few hours early) to all you XX-chromosome people who read my blog.

I just wanted to write a few thoughts. I am so thankful for my mother. She raised six very busy kids: five girls and one boy. It wasn't easy, but hopefully worth it for her. I learned how to be a mom from one of the best. Thank you, mom.

Because of mom, I have five of the best "girl friends" I could ask for. No one can quite compare to my sisters. They are my best friends and love me unconditionally. I always look forward to spending time with Kim, Kathie, Kellie, and Ginger. We laugh and play and laugh some more. Thank you girls.

I am thankful to Marty on this Mother's Day. Why? Because I would not be a mother without him. He has given me the two most beautiful and darling sons I could have ever asked for. My life I so full because of my husband and children. I look forward to every day with them. They are my everything. I just love them beyond words.

I hope you all have a lovely Mother's Day. Enjoy it and everyday you have with your families.
